WHAT YOU NEED
Paired with charcoal, our single species wood chips are the perfect way to add a burst of flavour to whatever you are grilling. To make the most of them, simply grab a handful or two and soak them in water for 20-30 mins before you want to start cooking.
Once your charcoal is lit and ready to cook on, drain your chips making sure to shake off any excess water. Scatter them evenly over the charcoal and within a minute or so they will start to catch and smoke. You are now ready to start cooking. The chips will give you about 15 minutes of smoke, so are best suited to quick grilling.
Like any ingredient less is more - you can always add but you can’t take away. Make sure you experiment to achieve your perfect amount of smoke.
